Happy Healthy Kids Workshops
Often as a parent we feel helpless when a child is unwell and having some tools to help whilst waiting for professional help is a relief. Things can be done in the mean time to ease their suffering. Described briefly below are some of the methods I use when dealing with these complaints.
I often use balancing techniques and am running a Healthy Happy Kids Workshop to help parents learn these.
As a parent we all want Happy Healthy Kids. Can you relate to any of the following?
“My child is always anxious about tests at school”. “My child is always off sick and keeps picking up bugs”. “Constantly sniffing and full of cold”. “My child does not eat enough fruit and veg”. “My child suffers with itchy eczema” . “I think my child is intolerant to some foods” etc.
My child suffers from constipation and no medication seems to help. I just want Happy Healthy Kids who can enjoy life.
This was my reason for finding kinesiology and the cause for my child was foods and lots of antibiotics as as baby had upset her gut microbiome. The solution was probiotics and to avoid certain foods.
My child is always off sick and keeps picking up bugs. Constantly sniffing and full of cold, I wish for Happy Healthy Kids.
Often the reason for this is a low immune system which can be caused by a high sugar diet, stress, food sensitivities and imbalances in the gut.
These problems can be resolved by identifying the correct foods for the child to eat, as well as identifying the supplements needed to rebalance the gut and the immune system.
My child does not eat enough fruit and veg. Concerned about the health impacts of a poor diet. Without a healthy diet will they be Happy Healthy Kids.
I can identify if it is a subconscious block to eating these foods and help to clear this and I may also need to rebalance their digestion which will then result in them craving healthier foods.
Do you think your child is intolerant to some foods. Is a food sensitivity stopping your child from being a Happy Healthy Kid?
I use simple non-invasive food testing techniques to identify food sensitivities. The main culprits are often Wheat, Cows Milk, White Sugar and White Salt. Initially the foods need to be avoided. I then work with supplements to rebalance the gut, to enable the foods to eventually be reintroduced in moderation.
My child suffers with eczema and I am struggling to find the cause. The itching and scratching is causing them not to be a Happy Healthy Kid.
The skin is linked to the bowel, therefore it can be food related but I have also found stress can be another factor contributing to eczema.
Water is also key, children need to drink at least 4 glasses of water per day. The calculation linked to size is 2/3 of an ounce per pound of body weight.
